So you've been dating for a while now and let's face it: the sex is outstanding. Then, all of a sudden, you're waking up in the mornings and she's using your toothbrush and asking you to get shampoo the next time you're out.

You spend a lot of time together
If you are catching lunch with her everyday and she's crashing at your pad more often than her own, that's a sure sign. The more time you spend together, the more you are solidifying the "exclusivity clause" in your unspoken contract.
You are honest with each other
Honesty is indeed the best policy and in a committed relationship it is the most important policy. If you're having a bad day and you can actually tell her that you are having a bad day, you've crossed the line into commitment territory.
You've found her clothes in your laundry more than once
Okay, once could be a one-night stand. But if you're pulling panties out of the dryer on more than one occasion then you've got some serious thinking to do. Because to a girl, handling laundry is like getting your names tattooed on each other.
You're holding hands
Holding hands is a sure way of telling her that things are getting serious. And getting serious means one thing: committed relationship.
You have more in common than not
She's read the same books; you laugh at the same jokes, both of you like Fight Club and Magnolia. Plus she likes to play Halo 3. You sir, are in a committed relationship.
Committed relationships aren't a bad thing. When you are in one you obtain a sense of comfort and stability that you just don't get "playing the field". It's nice to know that there is a person there that you can tell your secrets to and who is actually interested in your ideas. Even if you have to sit through a few episodes of One Tree Hill.
